Requiem 2019 is a short film starring Rutger Hauer. It is the story of a man meeting the last whale.
It was co-directed by Rutger Hauer and Sil Van Der Woerd.

Requiem 2019 was inspired by Rutgers ongoing involvement with Sea Shepherd, an oceanic wildlife conservation organisation.
