NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC & PRADA - Forgotten Forests

Collaborating with @natgeo, @prada and @animafilmsuk exploring the impact of underwater kelp forests. Diving through a kelp forest feels like flying. These are some of the most productive marine ecosystems on the planet, supporting thousands of species - including us. Scientists now believe humans were able to populate the Americas by migrating along the continent’s Pacific Coast all the way from Alaska to Mexico. But like their terrestrial counterparts, kelp are disappearing at an alarming rate.

We headed to Baja California with #SadieSink to find out why this is happening - and what’s being done to revive them.
