NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC & PRADA - Drowning In Noise

Collaborating with @natgeo, @prada and @animafilmsuk on a series of ocean conservation films. Shot in Bodo in the north Arctic, Norway. 

The ocean is a rich acoustic environment that humans are disrupting. Underwater sound translates as pressure and the explosive pulse from a seismic airgun searching for oil or gas can deafen or rupture internal organs of creatures like whales.
